Agro Dealers and Information Communication Technology A Case of Selected Districts of Central Province of Zambia.

Abstract
Over the years, the government of Zambia has recognized the pivotal role of Agro dealers in the distribution of farming inputs, positioning them at the core of the nation's agricultural landscape. In a concerted effort to enhance their efficiency and elevate food security by bolstering agricultural productivity, the government introduced the electronic voucher system. The implementation of this digital system aims to streamline the distribution of inputs and amplify the impact of agriculture in Zambia. The objective of this study was to analyze the barriers impeding the adoption of ICT among Agro dealers operating in selected districts within the central province of Zambia. Employing an explanatory mixed-method approach, the study population where Agro dealers. Data collection was done through a combination of questionnaires and interview guides. Quantitative data was analyzed using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) version 21.0, while qualitative data underwent a comprehensive thematic analysis.
