Abstract
This research analyzes the management of immigration and the human rights of refugees in Europe and Latin America between the year 2015 and 2024, through a comparative view of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS) and the Brazil Action Plan 2015. In an academic structure of three chapters, the author analysis the issues of international protection, migration, refuge and international humanitarian law, taken to the reality of two fundamental scenarios of migration crisis: Latin America and Europe.
Not all the legislations of both regions can be used as a case study to make a diagnosis on the management of asylum, refuge and migrants. For this reason, CEAS and Brazil's Action Plan (2015) were taken as management mechanisms for the review. The comparative view of this work will allow us to understand the differences of these chosen structures. This is a result of great relevance for the analysis and understanding of the current international sociopolitical reality. Reality plagued by conflicts, violations and crises, human avalanches in border crossings. These people are betting on a safer and better future for their lives.
