The article is dedicated to the historical prerequisites for the formation of the theory of argumentation in the works of representatives of the Kalam schools in Maverannahr in the 9th 13th centuries It is especially important to study the legacy of the Maturidian and Asharian Kalam when it comes to solving modern issues of argumentation and verification and conducting a religious examination in Uzbekistan which began a new stage in its history
